Question

When is it permissible for a Muslim to trim his beard?  Is it permissible to trim sides of the beard before it reaches the length of a clenched fist?  Or does the beard have to reach the length of a fist on all sides, before trimming is permissible?

Answer

It is permissible to trim the beard when the length exceeds a closed fist, this length is applicable to all sides of the beard.
