Question?

Are you allowed to have girlfriends, in other words are you allowed to love and have a relationship with a girl?

Answer No it is not allowed for a person to love and have relationships with people of the opposite sex. Allah Subhana wa Ta'ala orders both men and women in the Qur'an to keep their gaze low. Also to abstain from contact with all non-Mahram (members of the opposite sex who are not immediately related to you), let alone to have a relationship with them.
