MARRIAGE

The Prophet (peace be upon him) was 25 years old and well known in Makka as an honest, pious and good trader.  He helped the poor and widows and loved the orphans and the weak. Hazarat Khadija (R.A.A.) was very attracted the honesty and fairness of The Prophet (peace be upon him).  She was 40 years old and twice widowed. She proposed marriage to The Prophet (peace be upon him) and he accepted.  They enjoyed a happy married life. They had 2 sons and 4 daughters the names of the boys were Qassim, Abdullah and the daughters were Zainab, Umme Kulthuum, Rukkayya and Fatima.  Hazarat Khadija (R.A.A.) passed away when our Prophet was 51 years old
