Continuing As'r Salah into Maghrib time?

Question…

I came from work performed wudhu and started to perform As'r prayer. It so happened that I had completed two raka'at only when the Maghrib azaan was called. I continued with my As'r prayer and completed it (i.e. four raka'ats). What I want to know is:

(a)        Was I right in my continuation of my salaat? (

b)         Is my As'r Salaah valid? Have I fulfilled my obligation?

Answer

(a) You were correct.

(b) Yes. You have fulfilled your obligation.
